Resumo
Objetivo – O objetivo deste estudo é desenvolver uma escala para avaliar as atitudes do público em relação à inclusão de profissionais de saúde estrangeiros no sistema de saúde turco.
Referencial teórico – A ideia e o modelo da pesquisa foram desenvolvidos com base em uma revisão da literatura.
Metodologia – No âmbito do estudo, foi aplicado o processo de desenvolvimento de escala. A amostra do estudo é composta por 500 pessoas que vivem no distrito de Karabağlar, em Izmir, na Turquia.
Resultados – A análise fatorial revelou uma estrutura composta por quatro fatores e 24 itens. Esses fatores foram denominados “Perspectiva negativa”, “Confiança profissional”, “Aceitação” e “Política educacional”, a fim de refletir melhor os itens a eles associados. A estrutura determinada pela análise fatorial foi confirmada por meio de uma análise fatorial confirmatória.
Implicações praticais e sociais – Com a globalização, os profissionais de saúde estrangeiros podem trabalhar em muitos países além do seu próprio. Esse estudo, que examina as atitudes do público em relação aos profissionais de saúde estrangeiros que trabalham ou pretendem trabalhar na Turquia, deverá orientar pesquisas subsequentes na área. Isso demonstra o impacto social do estudo.
Contribuições – Uma escala não desenvolvida anteriormente na literatura foi elaborada neste estudo. Essa escala é original em termos de metodologia e recursos humanos.
