About the Journal

  • RBGN (Revista Brasileira de Gestão de Negócios) is a quarterly, open-access, free academic publication issued by FECAP (Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado). The journal was established in 2004 as the successor to the Álvares Penteado Review.

    The journal aims to disseminate and promote scientific debate in the fields of Management and Accounting, and its mission is:

    To disseminate high-quality academic studies and research in Management and Accounting that can contribute to improving management practices within organizations.

    From 2013 to 2022, the journal was bilingual, publishing articles in English or Portuguese. Beginning with the first issue of 2023, RBGN publishes exclusively in English, in accordance with indexer requirements.

    We are indexed in databases and directories recognized by the national and international scientific community.

From 2013 to 2022, the journal was bilingual, publishing in English and Portuguese or Spanish, and starting with the first issue of 2023, RBGN began publishing exclusively in English, in compliance with indexer requirements.

All articles accepted in Portuguese or Spanish are translated and published in both English and the original submission language.
