Third, we examine</p><p>how attitude, subjective norms and entrepreneurship self-efficacy</p><p>influence intentions of beginning a social entrepreneurship venture</p><p>among Mexico residents.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Design/methodology/approach </strong>– We conducted 745 surveys among</p><p>low-income Mexico residents who expressed interest in initiating a</p><p>social entrepreneurship venture. We used structural equation modeling</p><p>to test the hypothesized model.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Findings </strong>– Results showed the positive influence of social values on</p><p>social innovation orientation, while taking into account the influence</p><p>of financial interests.
